Most chat widgets resell you tokens at a markup and cap your messages. This one connects straight to the provider you choose, so you pay cost price and nobody meters your conversations.

- Six providers — OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok (xAI) and OpenRouter, each with a live model list and a connection test.
- Automatic failover — if your main provider has an outage, the next answer quietly comes from your second one.
- Separate embedding provider — OpenAI or Voyage AI, so you can keep search cheap while answering on a stronger model.
- An answer cache — near-identical repeat questions are served from your own database, at no cost and instantly.
- Real spend, visible — token usage and estimated cost per provider and model, plus per-session, daily and global rate limits with a hard cap.
Switching model is a dropdown
Start on a cheap model, move up if answers feel thin, and change your mind next week. The knowledge base is not tied to the chat model, so switching costs nothing but a settings change.
Optional external vector storage
On a very large knowledge base you can mirror embeddings into Supabase pgvector. Most sites never need it — the built-in search handles thousands of chunks comfortably.

Which model should I start with?
A small, fast model from any of the providers. For factual answers grounded in your own content, the difference between a mini model and a flagship is much smaller than the price difference.
What happens if my API key stops working?
Visitors see a friendly retry message rather than a provider error, the failure is written to the error log, and you get an email alert.
