Where it is: Mostly nowhere — history, transcript restore and the email-a-copy button are always on. The consent gate is under Settings → Privacy & Data.
- Returning visitors pick up where they left off; the transcript is restored from the server if their browser lost it.
- Email a transcript — visitors can send themselves a copy.
- Consent gate — optionally require agreement before the first message.
- Clear chat — starts a fresh session and rotates the session id, so nothing new is linked to the old conversation.
