Where it is: Design → Widgets → Shopping Assistant — the same card as the assistant itself.
With cart actions enabled, cards get an Add to cart button, and variable products get a Choose options button that lists the real variations.
It uses your normal cart
Adding happens through the standard WooCommerce cart in the visitor’s own session, so your taxes, shipping, coupons and payment plugins behave exactly as they do elsewhere. Nothing about the checkout is replaced.
The bot never adds silently
If a visitor asks the bot to add something, the widget shows a confirmation first. Only a real click adds to the cart.
Measuring it
The Dashboard shows the funnel: conversations that saw product cards, opened a product, added to the cart, and went to the checkout, plus which products get recommended and which actually convert.
