These are the parts of the plugin people ask about when they ask whether it is GDPR compliant. Compliance is a property of how you run your site rather than something a plugin grants, but each item below exists because the GDPR asks for it.
- AI disclosure — a clear note that the visitor is talking to an AI.
- Consent gate — optional agreement before the first message.
- Privacy panel — a plain-language explanation the visitor can open from the widget.
- Generated policy text — a description of what the plugin stores, for how long, and which AI provider is involved, as a starting point for your own privacy policy.
The generated text is a template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed if you operate in a regulated sector, and regenerate it after changing providers or features.
