From version 1.53 the plugin checks an update channel and offers new versions on the Plugins screen like any other plugin. Checks are cached for twelve hours; “Check again” on the Updates screen forces a fresh look.
System Health shows which channel a site uses. The default channel is served from ranakpik.com/updates/chatflint/ — the developerx27s own domain, until the product domain is live — and it carries a version check and a ZIP, nothing else. To point a site elsewhere, or to switch update checks off entirely, define AI_CHATBOT_UPDATE_URL in wp-config.php (as a URL, or as false).
