On a real site the same twenty questions arrive over and over. The cache stores answers and serves near-identical questions from your own database — no AI call, no cost, instant reply.
When it does not apply
- Follow-up questions that depend on the conversation.
- Anything involving the visitor’s cart or products.
- Answers that were a decline, a handoff, or cut off.
It invalidates itself
The cache is stamped with the state of your knowledge base and your model settings. Sync new content, change model, edit a business fact or change the answer voice, and the affected entries stop being served automatically. You never have to remember to clear it, though there is a button if you want to.
